Behind the Scenes

Hi, we’re Christina and Lauren—friends, creative partners, and the team behind Sea & Stone Events. Our name comes from our Pacific Northwest home: “Sea” for our coastal home (and Lauren being a total Pisces), and “Stone” for stability and commitment (and a nod to Christina’s Taurus vibes).

We both come from backgrounds in customer care, communications, nonprofit work, and community building, which basically means we’re used to juggling details, solving problems, and keeping people happy. Christina is all about details and finding solutions, while Lauren brings the creative spark and loves making people feel connected.

We’ve planned just about everything—our own weddings, house parties, fundraisers, baby shower, holiday get-togethers—and we’ve learned that the magic is in the details and in keeping things fun. Now, we get to do that for you: take the stress off your plate and help bring your vision to life.

  • We specialize in weddings, but we also can plan engagement parties, showers, birthday celebrations, holiday gatherings, fundraisers, and other special events.

  • We offer both—and everything in between! Whether you need full-service planning from start to finish, partial planning, or just someone to handle the details on the day-of, we’ll tailor our services to your needs.

  • For weddings, we recommend booking at least 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons. For smaller events, 2–4 months may be enough depending on your need of vendors. That said, we’re happy to accommodate timelines if our schedule allows. Keep in mind that vendors like caterers are in short supply on the Olympic Peninsula and are usually the hardest to secure vendor. Plan as early as you can.

  • We’re based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and primarily serve the Olympic Peninsula with home base in Jefferson County. We are open to surrounding regions and select travel opportunities—just ask!

  • Our pricing is based on the scope of the event and level of support you need. After a free consultation, we’ll provide a custom quote that fits your vision and budget. We ask you to keep in mind that even small events generally have the same elements as larger events, so while the number of guests can play a role in pricing, the number of vendors, the venue, design, set-up, and breakdown, and the time we have to plan all play into your quote.

    We ask you to please keep in mind that even smaller events often involve many of the same components as larger ones. While guest count can influence pricing, factors such as the number of vendors, venue complexity, design elements, setup and breakdown requirements, and the overall time we have to plan your event all contribute to the final quote.

  • We have a network of local vendors and venues we’ve worked with before, but we’re happy to collaborate with any professionals you have in mind—or help you find the perfect match.

  • Absolutely! Whether you’ve booked a few vendors or are halfway through planning, we can jump in where you need support.
